Haptags LLP ("Haptags", "we", "us", "our") operates haptags.com and provides Website Development, Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing, Interior Design, and Real Estate Advisory services from our office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Send an enquiry through our contact form or the Project Cost Calculator (name, company, email, phone, service of interest, budget and timeline ranges, project details, and the calculator options you chose).
  • Send a college or institution enquiry about Haptags LMS (name, institution, role, approximate number of students, email, phone and your message).
  • Use our client dashboard (email address, name, phone, company, and the project information, documents, invoices and support messages exchanged with us).
  • Request a brochure download (name, work email, contact number, service of interest).
  • Subscribe to our newsletter (email address).
  • Respond to a limited-time offer form, where applicable (name, email, phone, organization, address, and, where the offer requires identity verification for prize/coupon fulfilment, a government ID number and document upload).
  • Email, call, or message us directly.

We also automatically collect limited technical information standard to any website visit (server logs), and privacy-friendly usage statistics: the page viewed, the website that referred you, campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), the type of device (mobile, tablet or desktop) and which buttons were clicked. These statistics do not use cookies and do not store your IP address; visits are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so they cannot be linked to you or across days. When you send an enquiry we record the page you sent it from and any campaign tags, so we know which of our pages and campaigns are useful.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to consultation requests and enquiries, and to prepare quotes.
  • To provide the client dashboard: project updates, documents, invoices and support.
  • To deliver the brochures or offer benefits you requested.
  • To send newsletter updates, if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To verify eligibility and prevent fraud for limited-time promotional offers.
  • To improve our services and this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Government ID information (promotional offers only)

Where a specific limited-time offer requires identity verification to prevent abuse (for example, limiting one offer per household), any government ID number or document you submit is used solely for that verification, is not published, and is retained only as long as necessary to administer that specific offer before secure deletion. You may request early deletion by emailing us at the address below.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website and respond to your enquiries — for example, our email delivery provider (Hostinger, for transactional email dispatch). These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies & local storage

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to the client dashboard we set one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in; it expires when you sign out or after a period of inactivity. We use your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference, and session storage to remember campaign tags only for the duration of your visit. Google Fonts is loaded from Google's servers to display site typography, which may involve a standard, non-personalized network request to Google's font CDN.

6. Data retention

We retain enquiry and consultation data for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain business records, and no longer than necessary for that purpose or as required by law. Client dashboard data is kept for the duration of our engagement and as required for accounting and legal records. Anonymous usage statistics are deleted automatically after about 13 months.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted to us by emailing info@haptags.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including transmitting this website exclusively over HTTPS, storing enquiries in an access-controlled database, signing clients in with one-time email codes, keeping client documents in private storage that is only downloadable after sign-in, and logging staff access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
